Info: An exhibition and collaborative embroidery project facilitated by ArtYarn for Ele Carpenter.
ArtYarn we're commissioned to facilitate the coordination of a participatory embroidery work that was exhibited at MadLab Manchester for the Analogue is the New Digital exhibition (also part of the Manchester AND festival). A patchwork embroidery consisting of the text 'Zone' from 'A Concise Lexicon of/for the Digital Commons'by the Raqs Media Collective (2003) was created by stitchers from Manchester and beyond.
ArtYarn would like to thank Ele Carpenter for inviting them to be part of her exhibit and to all of the participants who kindly gave their time and materials to the exhibition.
