As part of the UKDIY festival exhibition Artyarn were commissioned to create a new outdoor installation on Civic Square outside the Turnpike Art Gallery , and on the indoor and outdoor market places in Leigh, Greater Manchester.
Along-with an out door tree cosy installation Artyarn also curated an online portfolio of Yarn Bombing photographs from makers across the world on a Flikr pool set up especially for this exhibition. Since the exhibition this world wide yarn bombing community has continued to develop and now hosts over 300 documentary photographs of Yarn Bombing work from across the globe.

As part of the UKDIY festival in the north west of England, ArtYarn took part in 3 of the 4 gallery exhibitions on show during the festival including: Knitted Nature - Touchstones Rochdale Art Gallery, Yarn Forward - Manchester Craft & Design Centre and UKDIY Exhibition - Turnpike Art Gallery in Leigh.
